The book says 2 to 8 headaches a day is possible. The norm is 1 to 3 attacks a day. The normal episodic cluster lasts 2 to 8 weeks. My longest is 12 weeks. There are people here witht he chronic version. They have had daily headaches for 18-20 years.
I think we all identify with his description of the pain. Believe me, there is no other feeling like it. Someone once said that they looked at themself in the mirror during a headache and couldn't believe that they couldn't "see" the pain. Something that intense had to have a form.
