Took your advice in part. Did not consult a neuro,
but did upgrade the therapy. Am on a short course
of prednisone (40mg/day tapering off) and verapamil
(240mg/day). Results are positive so far. I get a
mildly uncomfortable shadow at my headache times but
no real attack. Side effects are minimal and manageable.
I have not used the Imitrex since I started this course
but I always have one on me just in case.
I'm about 2/3 of the way through the normal cycle of
about a month so hopefully after these 10 days I can
stop treatment and enjoy the summer.
