This is exactly what I would do. You can leave no stone unturned in trying to get help for Daniel.

Children DO get CH and if your doctor denies that he may not know enough to treat your son in any case. Get your husband to take a look at this site, also. He needs to be fighting as hard as you are.

And when I called the neuros I would explain how long Daniel had been suffering - see whether they might give him a quicker appointment. To me CH is always an emergency although doctors don't always agree. Too, if he has a regular doctor (pediatrician or family doctor) try to get him involved in getting a faster appointment for Daniel. This often works.

And if Daniel has extensive medical records I would definitely get a copy of them to show to the next doctor (if needed). He probably would not need to redo some of the time-consuming and expensive tests he has already had. If it truly is CH nothing will show up on any test.
