i can tell ya that much. for the past 10 years ive been taking verapamil and lithium on a daily basis and it has kept about 80% of the CH's from even appearing. i have noticed that over the years even on the same dosage that the CH's are not as painful as they once were and i seem to get hit less than years ago.
as for being chronic for 24 years, id rather be chronic. i wouldnt want to ever have a chance to forget just how painfull CH is only to be reminded in a bad way. being chronic you never have a chance to forget.
