The reason I was asking about depression is that Lee (husband) has been taking carbatrol (anti-seizure med used mostly for epilepsy) for bipolar for a few months (I diagree with the diagnosis, but that's another story). Anyway, he is depressed--that I do agree with. I feel he would do much better on a med such as Paxil, both for the depression and for the headaches. I have asked all the drs. about carbatrol being responsible for triggering his cluster, but they don't seem to think it has anything to do with it. I'm been doing some research on seratonin and circadian rhythms (he's scheduled for a consult for a sleep study) and would like to see him try another med for the depression. Thanks for telling me about the Paxil and Depokote. We will ask the dr.
