I have had these Monsters since the age of 8. I am now 35 the mother of 5. I have gone from Episodic at age 8 with fairly long remissions, to chronic the past 2 years. Medication kept the monster captive from 4/00 until 10/00 with an occasional very mild headache on occasion in that time period. I take Lithium 600mg twice a day and Pamelor 75mg at night. I still get headaches(1-4) about every third day for a day or more, and thank my blessed God and Father for Imitrex when I get them. I know we are all in the middle of these now but does anyone know of anyone who had them forever go away? My father had them 25 years ago and died at the age of 40 so I don't know if he would have "out grown them". Is this a life sentence without opportunity for parole? I once had someone tell me if I could make it to the age of 45 without committing suicide, they would go away. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't know how long I can ride this rollercoaster, I want to get off. I know we all do. thanks for listening (or rather reading)
