I had been drinking a lot of coffee more than 20 years before my CH started so I think I might be somewhat immune to its soothing effect as a drug.
Some people also report they drink colas with high caffeine with some helpful results. If you like these drinks you might want to experiment to find out if they help you. I do not know whether strength would make a lot of difference in its efficacy or not. Good luck.
