Mine begin as a warm pain in my right temple, building to a horrible ice-pick sensation, sometimes shooting/stagging. Usually my neck will get tight and the pain goes thru my eye socket, them down into my upper jaw. It is a pulsating type of pain. My right eye does the red teary thing and my nasal passages become stuffy. Imitrex nasal spry works, but it is hard to get enough due to the damn insurance companies, so I tend to use mine in extreme situations at work and wait out the night time ones with hot compresses or ice. I guess I am a classic. Tami
