My insurance company will only give allow me to have 10 zomig a month. 15 Imitrix pills a month. 2 imitrix shots a month. 8 migranol ns a month. 2 bottles of stadol ns a month. and one bottle of percacet a month. With that I am armed against the beast! I think the key to surviving against the insurance companies is finding more than one thing that works for you and getting it. Also get different things like imitrix injection, ns, and pill all in one month. Also, talk to your pharmacist and find out how often your insurance company will let you renew your scripts. Then make sure you are in there renewing them wether you need the script filled at the time or not. Stack up on the medicine so to speak fof the time when you do need it. The medicine has a good shelf life usually. That way it is there when you need it.
Have you tried Imitrix? Zomig is alot like imitrix they are in the same family of medicines. If zomig works for you imitrix should to. Explain to your dr. that your insurance doesnt alow you to have enough medicine to cover all your headaches. Find out if he will right a script out for imitrix also so you can take zomig first and when that runs out you can take the imitrix. Hope the suggestions help!
