Covera is verapamil. Its a cute little plastic
pill with a couple holes in them to create a
specific time release profile. What that profile
is, I'm not sure. The profile is designed for
heart disease, not CH. I switched from 480 mg
generic verapamil SR to 480mg Covera, but have
not seen improvement (verapamil used to work
great, but now I'm having 1-2 moderate attacks
per day). I think I noticed more heart 'palpatations'
with the Covera. Does anyone know what this
unpleasant heart sensation is?
