at a business, You can take FMLA for taking care of a family member or yourself. I beleave. It's been awhile since anyone has. But they had no problems what so ever at my job when they did. I don't beleave they even had a doctors note. Hope this helps some. I think it's a right you have and you shouldn't have touble getting it. Good Luck though. Love Paula
