Why are people dumping on Derek? I could hardly be considered a regular here but I offer what I can and try to at least ask interesting questions or post the occasional joke. I spend much of my time the same as everyone else, clutching my head, wandering around making strange groaning noises, and generally wondering "why me?" I've been getting from 3 to4 CHs/day at around a level 7 or 8 for the last 4 months.
Having said all that, I guess my point is as follows:
I utterly refuse to allow CH to dominate my life. I do not and will not EVER allow myself to be defined as "a CH sufferer or CH victim."
CH is and always will be, an irritation, something that interferes with what I want to do. I enjoy browsing through the posts and chatting with people, mostly via email. There are some nice people here, kind ones that will go the extra mile to help a fellow sufferer and that is good. I think that's wonderful and will do the same when I have something to offer.
I log in the first thing every morning just to see if anyone has something new, and if I happen to find something, I'll post it ASAP as well. Anyway, I guess my point is that it's a nice world out there, and I for one am unwilling to give up even a single day to some damn headache. There, Ive said my piece and got this off my chest and if someone wants to flame me well, I guess that's OK too. All the best to the folks here and I truly hope you go into long-term remission.
