Lithium is highly effective for some psychiatric disorders but has to be used with great care because it can become toxic. When using it, regular blood work is mandatory to monitor the levels in your body.

Side effects can be very troublesome for some folks but there is no predicting who will have adverse effects.

It's one of those drugs to keep on the shelf to use only when you have exhausted all other options. Works for many but don't use until experience says nothing else does.

In any situation, I should not like to see you use it unless under the care of a physician with experience using it.
