Thanks for your feedback. You're absolutely right about Excedrin's marketing gimmick. Although I bet the renaming helped Excedrin differentiate itself from the myriad of OTC pain relievers.

Yes, I was worried about the rebound effect myself, since basically any analgesic taken in conjunction with caffeine is supposedly subject to rebounding. I only take Excedrin immediately after the start of an attack. I haven't noticed much in the way of rebound headaches, although I'm not sure how to distinguish a rebound HA from a "regularly scheduled" HA. There are enough times when Excedrin, especially when combined with exercise, can cut off an attack. However, there are times when Excedrin does nothing and I have to use Imitrex nasal spray.

I've been on Verapamil for a week now and still apparently no effect. I hope your cycle is really done. I know the feeling of fear/hope towards the end of the cycle.
