That's awfully long for a single cluster attack. If he's been in bed all that time, I would seriously doubt what he is going through are true clusters. My husband can't sit still during an attack, most folks can't. And forget laying down.
Have you checked out the cluster traits to the left here? i wonder if what your hubby is going through might be migraine?
Fresh air always helps, and ice does help with a migraine too. Best to know what you're dealing with first though. Let us know, ok?
