Dear Don W.

I'm a hospital adminstrator and a 20 year ch patient. I have a suggestion: when identifying your medical condition, always use the word "attack" rather than "headache", at leastin the initial conversation with a nurse. Then quickly explain that the condition is a male-dominant one involving a disorder in brain chemistry, etc...... in other words, stay away from the "chronic headache" ID. It tends to get the nurse or other professional away from going automatically to the "chronic migraine" profile, which is unfortunately stereotyped as a physical/emotional condition.

the above may be next to worthless , but I thought i'd chime in. Best Regards, Tom
