It makes no difference whatsoever to me whether you decide to try it or not.

I no longer have an accurate count of how many have tried it with success, but it must be well over a dozen by now. More, if we count private e-mails sent to Flash and others by people who prefer not to post in a public forum.

There is no longer any doubt about the effectiveness of the treatment -- it works. There is also no doubt about the legal issues facing experimenters. In the United States, even simple possession is classified as a felony. In California and Georgia, even possession of the SPORES is illegal. Since you live in Georgia, you'll probably want to be even more discrete than most.

The Florida Supreme Court has ruled that Florida's statutes regarding simple possession of psilocybin mushrooms are unconstitutional, hence simple possession of either fresh or dried psilocybin mushrooms is not illegal... see Fisk vs. State of Florida. On the other hand, the police in parts of Florida (probably feeling thwarted at this ruling) are notorious for pressing the trespassing statutes to the limit when they catch "pickers" on private property.
