This happen to me, but I wasn't on Verapamil yet. And I didn't wait for the two hours either and what my body felt like when I gave myself the second shot I'll never do it again! Steve are you still doing Margi's water treatment? I still drank lots of water when I got on the Verapamil, also you may need to increase the dose. Ask your doc but there are people who take large doses. Myself used 380 mg a day. I also got off the Imitrex shots all together, my choice but people use both Imitrex and Verpamil too. Are you using Oxygen too? When I stop using Imitrex shots the Oxygen started to work for me, but that's how my body works I quess...Hope this helps you ....Also ask Jonny he his chronic and uses Verap and Lith combo.......Suzy
