It sure sounds like ch to me. I can especially identify with your misdiagnosis. I've had these headaches for 21 years. At first the Drs. told me it was tension, then sinus, then wisdom teeth. After a lot of drugs, xrays, and many other tests I was diagnosed with ch. I, too, gave up on Drs., but several years ago a very sympathetic Dr. tried me on imitrex shots. They work well, but can only take two a day and sometimes I have more than two headaches a day.
You are not a baby!! The pain is excruciating. It is hell.
Try to find a neurologist that specializes or is at least sympathetic to ch.
