I have just been diagnosed with cluster headaches by a local neurologist, confirmed by the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville, Fl.
I am forty three years old, a dentist, a husband and father of four. I have never had headaches that would not go away with
a little tylenol and or motrin. This is a new experience.

I have found some relief with oxygen, I am on calcium channel blockers, and I have had a course of prednisone. The headaches are
still there.

The main concern I have is that I have had to cancel seven days of patient appointments over the last six weeks. I've
just toughed out the last two days. Most of my patients have been wonderful about this, but long term, this will not be
really great for my practice. I can handle the discomfort, I'm more concerned about my employees and patients.

How do you all cope with the serious interruptions in your activities?
