I made no claims as to the underlying mechanism of CH - what I said was that if the pain comes from an artery, then blocking the artery will remove the pain. The same is true for migraine, but different arteries are involved.
We would all like to know the underlying mechanisms involved in CH, but the really important thing to me is to take the pain away. The interesting thing is that when the pain is removed, the other symptoms also disappear.
