Shelly, while some of the replies may have been a bit too decisive in tone, I think they meant well.
One of the challenges of CH is that the diagnosis depends heavily on two things - eliminating other possibilities and the descriptive input of the patient. Clearly a 2 year old can't describe well what he's suffering. A mother, however, can pinch hit fairly well.
We have had other cases here of very young children who have shown every symptom of CH. I believe it to be possible, and perhaps as cruel a twist of fate as can be.
