I did try this the other night. I had an isolated attack - one of several in the last couple of weeks (while I was off the Verpapmil as an experiment).

I can see how this could possibly help some who are able to concentrate fully. And I recommend trying it.

But I am one of those who cannot concentrate. I really tried, but other thoughts kept intruding - like how I needed heat on my head; then a kitty sauntered in hoping for some attention in the middle of the night; and thoughts of others on the message board paraded across my mind, and finally I had trouble forcing myself to breathe while I concentrated.

Is pure concentration enough? Do you need to scrunch up your face in a scowl or is the main idea to relax neck and face muscles? I would really like to be able to do this. Is there any hope that I might improve with practice?
