Tales of this study have been around for several month now, and have been discussed on this board extensively. However, I notice the number of patients has now increased from 25 to 75 and in the earlier stories there were 'only' 80% affected. As the original paper is not available on the net, all we have are digests from (medical layman) journalists, who probably picked what made the biggest headlines. A quick search showed up more than 200 entries, some with really outrageous headlines.
As long as there is no access to the original paper we should relegate this to the realm of journalistic exaggerations.
