Say people, Its been about a year since I have visited this site. Last time I was trying to find a new idea for some control of these cluster headaches.
My last trip to the doc., a general pract. not a neurlogist, the doc wanted to try ziac along with elavil. I had been taking elavil 50mg for some time after about 50 or so other drugs that she wanted to try. The elavil just didnt work either. So she said to keep taking the elavil and add this ziac, 5mg. So I didand within the first 24hr I could tell the difference.
I havent had a cluster headache in nearly a year. This time of year also is my worst part of the cycle. And so far nothing.
Now imitrex works sometimes to ease the pain, but I was wanting to avoid the pain altogether. So far so good.
I know all of you have tried all sort of things. I like you have been to several neuroligist and been stuck with enough meds to kill a cow. But a little asian woman general pract seems to have found a combination that works for me.
Anyone ever tried the elavil and ziac mix? I was surprised, it worked almost imediatly. Stopped the cycle I was in and hasnt come back.
Ofcourse only time will tell the whole truth. Clusters are pretty sneaky.
