Does anyone have a copy of the Frank Capra book, The Name above the Title? I can order it for less than $20.00, but if someone has a copy I would like to ask you to do a little research for me. It occurred to me that the family of this famous clusterhead might like to honor him by some sort of affiliation with OUCH. Well, maybe they wouldn't, but it could not hurt to ask! I will also check my library for this book when I come out of hibernation. That means when the thermometer stays above 32 at night.
Margi, I agree totally with your post. A lot of newbies are ignorant about CH - that is why they come here - to learn. I was ignorant about CH when I found this site. My doctor told me I was chronic because my cycles were not seasonal. And Riccardo, your point is a great one, also. We at OUCH do have a *special* duty
to educate the newbies and support the oldies.
I hope when the CH questionnaire is done we can make a page with lots of statistics and much anecdotal evidence that will answer most questions a newbie has without that person having to do a lot of searches through archives or plow through a series of surveys. With help from some of my computer literate friends we should be able to create the definitive CH resouce page - symptoms, treatments, effect on lives, insurance problms, self-help measures, literature, projects, even humor, or just about anything else you think needs to be included.
