Hi,my name is Steve and I've been suffering from chronic cluster headaches for 16 years.You are right,imitrex shots are a godsend.Here is what I tell my doctor.You are allowed 2 shots in a 24 hr span.Since my doctor knows I'am chronic,he will give me a script for 14 shots a week,with 10-12 refills on that script.After 3 days my insurance company will let me refill it,thank God.You see.when I'am in a bad cluster period,I sometimes will do 8 shots in a 24 hr period.Health wise this is very dangerous.But,I have come to the fact,that I would rather risk my health,than feel the demon anymore.If your doctor can give you a script like the one that I get,and you have good insurance,you should have enough shots to get you past a bad cycle,Also,check out the imitrex tip that they tell you about on this site.Hope I helped you...........Steve G
