The timeshift does sound familiar to me. I had CHs for three weeks before I found out what they were. These headaches ALWAYS came at 7 p.m. EVERY night. After I saw a doctor, he prescribed the Imitrex pill. The pill worked, but the very next day the ch came in the morning. Now after 2 weeks of imitrex, they sometimes come in the morning, sometimes in the evening, sometimes both, and sometimes not at all. I think that these pills may just be delaying my symptoms. But at least for me, they do make the pain go away.
