It's a tricyclic antidepressant. The key thing it does with CH is enhance the concentration of serotonin in the central nervous system. Serotonin being the stuff that controls dialation of the blood vessels, among other things.
Some have had success, some not. The bigest side effect is that you will be groggy as hell in the morning for the first few weeks.
