After years of headaches that were poorly managed I finally went to a headache institute (like a clinic) in Manhattan. It is now approx 7 months later and I feel much better. I suggest sticking with the academic centers. Find out whether the doctor is a headache specialist. Does the doctor lecture to other doctors or publish articles? How experienced is the doc?
