This is not your fault. There is no reason for you to feel guilty. I can only imagine the feeling of helplessness as you watch you child suffer through this, but please know that you did nothing to cause his pain and you are doing everything you can to stop it. You came here. You are reaching out. You are getting all the information you can, getting him to doctors, getting him his education be it in school or at home. You are obviously a great mom who loves your child immensely. Keep coming here. There is a wealth of information to be found and we will all help you as much as we can. My heart goes out to you and to your little boy. I will keep you both in my prayers.
