this has been diagnosed Recurrent Herpes Zoster,atypical Trigeminal Neurelgia, and now cluster headaches.The clusters last a hellof a long time.Prednosone helps, but I can't stay on that long,Neurontin helps,but I get loopy and lose my memory,Now I have begun Calan SR.Light triggers the pain, I wear dark sunglasses, alway,while outside.The pain began 8-9 yrs ago with a red eye with clear discharge and SX of a viral infection.It was night and day.I cvered my windows for months and was captive in my bedroom.Neurontin made me hypomanic-the Calan is really bringing me down fast ,to a terrible groucy state.I have taken it 2 days,and the ,"mental depression on the drug info is occurring.Calan is seemingly my last hope-I tried Depakote-I was allergic from handling it for yrs, giving to patients, and Tegrotal made the pain worse, as did Imitrex also narcotics(one shot of Demeral and Vicodin also made it worse unless one took it until you slept for a while.I am so afraid I won't be able to go to my part time job.
A fellow sufferer-slightly confused but free of pain at this nice dark hour of 2:45 AM.
