The key word in what I'm saying is "ordinary". CH may last 7 hours occasionally but the ordinary CH lasts 1/2 hour to 2 hours.
I've had back to backs that lasted a total of 4 hours (only happened once).
All of the medical descriptions of CH will quote the shorter duration as the norm for CH.
