Randy:

I have been a CH sufferer almost 10 years. While the monster strikes me, (I am pain free for 9 weeks tomorrow, thank God!) I just want to be in the darkest room I can find, no sound and concentrate on riding it out. In my world of these things, there is no room for any touch or speaking or distractions as I am doing my best to survive this attack. There is nothing my wife or kids can do or say, nor do I want them to.
It doesnt mean that I love them any less or dont want them, just not for the 2-3 hours when "Daddy is having one of his headaches"

This condition is very frustrating for me as well. When the strike comes, I am shot, no good to anybody. Cant work, play, watch TV, converse. I can only become a hermit, segregated form all others until it passes.

Randy, talk to her and find out what SHE wants you to do. Then do your best to foll0ow those instructions. When it's over, then you will see she will be more responsive.

Hang in there, This is a bumpy road for the driver as well as all the passengers.

A pain free life for all,

Bob J
