would not take the responsibility of displaying the brochures. W-D grocery said I would have to clear it with the home office. Rite Aid home office said "no." All they usually put up are those ads from the drug companies.

But I'll bet if we had a corner drugstore that was not a big chain they might be more helpful.
Too, there are other ways to advertise.

It occurred to me that you can put a notice of a lost animal on the outside window of a store.
Maybe we could post there or on bulletin boards in offices and schools.

Let's try to think up some other alternatives - flyers under windshields at xmart, local radio call-in talk shows, your county medical society might respond to inquiries.

My society did not. I sent them a whole packet of materials last June - OUCH brochure, newsletter, press release, and a request for someone to spread the word about CH. I still have not gotten a reply. But maybe other counties are more helpful. It is worth a try.
