I am 23 years old and I've been suffering from cluster migranes for 5-6 years now. I beleive, and doctors beleive, that it was caused by being hit on my nose with a baseball. I mean real hard. Anyway, don't worry, you won't lose your husband. I often feel like dying as well. What helps me sometimes, that I discovered, is taking 3-4 Advils once you feel the slitest chance of a migrane approaching. Advil helps because it contains Ibuprofen; a drug which helps do decompress blood vessels in the brain. A new product, that just came out in Canada is Advil Migrane. I haven't yet tried it. It will probably work well. Also during a cluster attack, place a COLD cloth on your husbands forehead. Even ice on his temples. Anything cold works.
