Karen: I urge your husband to get oxygen and Immitrex fast. I have had CH episodes for over 20 years and recently have had unimaginable success with both. Both constrict blood vessels (CH is a vascular headache) and very often give relieve (about 90% of the time for me). Do not take no from a doc on use of these unless there is some compelling reason (i.e. heart problems with Immitrex). Oxygen up to 15 min at 8 liters/min (up to 5 times a day). Immetrix nasal spray 20 mg (can use twice a day). Again, I stress you try these as soon as possible.
