Well,I called the neuro on call in Nashville this afternoon. I could not believe my luck. This doc's father has CH! He told me to up the pred to 60mg for 5 days,then 40 for 5,then 20 for 5 and then down to 10. He also suggested to take him by the fire dept/ER(since I work there),or the ambulance service for the O2 at 15 liters/minute by non rebreather. He also told me to have him take 2 tums,zantac,and theragran-m(for vit d to help the calcium in the tums absorb)every day. I called his MD to report this and she was willing to call it in to the pharmacy. We will try it and let ya'll know how it turns out. Thanks to everybody for your support!
