Ree, I'm 54 but my CH began to disappear in the late 80s

and for the last nine plus years, it's been entirely gone. The timing may be because of my age but then the anti-convulsants I take may have had a cumulative effect after all these years. Who knows? I was taking lots of Dilantin and Phenobarbitol for many years along with Mysoline--also known as Primidone. I no longer take the the first two drugs and have been on several others: Topamax and Depakote. It seems that my attacks lessened during the most stressful time of my life when age and sickness caught up with almost all my close relatives from 1988-1991. It seemed to have a good effect on my CH for some strange reason.
