an abstract from Medline on the evolution of episodic CH to chronic. It stated people who are more prone to go from episodic to chronic have had head trauma, smoke and drink heavily (I'm not sure how those stats compare to the ones that say most CH sufferers tend to smoke and drink more), and had their first episode in their thirties. I haven't seen the full article. But it would be interesting to compare how many of us that went from episodic to chronic had head trauma, compared to those always chronic or those always episodic.
Oh yeah. Another factor they noticed was that while episodic the remission period tended to be shorter then 6 months.
