I take zomig 5mg pills. I take one at first sign of trouble. If it offers any let up in the headache at all, any, then in two hours if I am still hurting I may take a second dose. If it did nothing at all the first time then I am not to take a second dose. I find frequently it knocks out the ha for a few hours, then I get another one so I take more. I am suppose to take up to two a day but my dr has given me permission to take up to 4 a day if it will keep my but out of the ER. Hope this helped some.
