Man do I know how it feels if you are not getting any where with your doc! My insurance doc did not care and only gave me Imirex shots because I would not leave his office untill he gave me the shots.
I made a call to Dr. Sam (I and his wife worked at a Acupuncture College) he is a kidney spec doc and help me when my insurance doc did not. He LOOK at the info I gave him on meds from CH .com and put me on Verapamil and took me off Imitrex shots, he thought I was getting rebound headaches from taking to many shots.(6-12 a day ). He cared and also has a friend with CH!
If you would like I will give him a call and see if he knows a doc on the west coast for you..
James Cimera is a Neuro I saw when my cycle was over (took that long with my insurance). He was willing to look at the info I brought him and seemed to understand.
