It is not uncommon for prednisone to work until your dosage begins to taper down. That is my experiance with preds. I still try to knock out some of the intesity of a cycle with a taper down dosage of preds but have added o2 to the mix and imitrex for the ones that sneak past. I was on prednisone too long with my last cycle and experianced side-effects. Joint pain, heavy sweats, weight gain and mood swings. I went to o2 and at first I was not impressed. But I did not give up on it and started using o2 at the first micro-hint of an attack. It brings me great relief. Have you tried o2? Do you take it soon enough? Best wishes
