I too have the same problem with arithritis. Have been taking prednesone for over a year now. I am 59 years old. I started with about 20 milagrams per day. I am now done to 1 1/2 mil per day. I still hurt all over, but alot less. Thank God, no side effects yet, but need to get completely off. One good way to taper down is one mil down per month. Somedays the aches are stronger others.
