I don't know about the rest of you guys but when
I am not having these terrible headaches I want
to forget about them and try to carry on a normal
life until I have to deal with them again.
When you are having a bout it takes over your
life, and you don't have any control over it
anymore, it consumes you with fear of the next
attack. I've been told that I bring these headaches
on myself by dreading the inevitable. You isolate
yourself from the outside world, and your family
because you know if you are caught out and have
an attack you won't be able to get yourself home
or your family member just don't understand what
you are going through and makes you feel as if
you losing your mind. And people look at you as
if you are exagerating the pain, that nothing
could really hurt that bad.

I have no friends because of these headaches.
Especially one that you would truely call a best
friend, that is there when you need them or not.

Even inbetween bouts, you never truely forget the
pain. You still live eveyday with the fear of their

It isn't that I don't want to help anyone, because
god knows I would help anyone with this pain. I
just need to be able to forget the pain for as
long as I can so I can try to deal with it when
it does hit again. Does that make me a bad
person? I hope not,because I don't know how else
to deal. If healthcare professionals were more
educated about these type of headaches and believed
how painful and incapacitating they truely are I
think we all wouldn't have to suffer the way most
of us have to.

Hoping for a headache free life,
