Sometimes you have to insist that your doctor prescribe what you need, or your husband needs in this case. My doctor kept on putting up walls for me to get a scrip for O2 and after I was at my wits end with attacks I pushed and pushed him to prescribe it. Very reluctantly he did and it's been the best thing I've found to abort an attack.
