Yes, you can get nasal spray and it is fairly effective but not as quick as injection. Same goes for the pills they are slow to work and have to up the dose to be effective against clusters. While I don't use Imitrex tablets I do use Zomig tablets and my Dr. advises to take up to 4 tablets if I feel it is going to be a bad one.( one is the recommened dose by manafacter)I would think that the same rule would follow with imitrex. It usually takes 1/2 hour to 45 min. to help with 2 or 3 pills and relieve is still not as effective as an imitrex injection.
