I have been taking Fiorinal (with aspirin instead of acetaminophen) for many years now and it does take the edge off a bad headache. I am very careful however, because it also can be addicting and cause rebound headaches if taken many days in a row. Good luck to you. P.S. it also comes with codeine and works better for pain.
