Thanks to everyone that responded! As for the nasal spray, I'm aware that it is available, but the fact is that I simply have these pills and was looking for a way to make them more effective.
Anyway, it'd likely be a major battle to get my GP to prescribe yet another form of Imitrex, as I had to beg and plead for a mere 4 doses of the injection, and she seemed disturbed that I had actually gone through 9 tabs in 5 days.
This is the same doctor that, upon noticing a low blood-sugar on my blood tests, said, "Maybe that's causing your headaches. Drink more orange juice".
Anyway, I don't think I'll be trying the snorting idea...thanks to Doug for telling me that it simply didn't work. Perhaps it's a bio-chemical thing, where some forms of chemical compounds just aren't able to be absorbed through the sinus membranes. I dunno...
At this moment, it's been 1-1/2 days without the icepick, so maybe this will all soon be irrelevant for me anyway; at least for a few months...
And I'm not quite the ex-druggie I may have appeared; mostly going for comic effect!
