I wasn't lucky for the last 24 years of my life,
but I moved to AZ and lucked out with the first
doctor my insurance co. sent me to. At first I
thought I was doomed, he'd just become a doctor!
He's all of 21! But he really listened, and read
up on it! He even called me up at home and asked
me more questions. I told him I'd been taking
Cafergot illegaly bought in Mexico because it
helped me if I caught the headache in time and he
immediately gave it to me, with the conddition that
I try other stuff. Which turned out being, Verapamil,
Lithium, and Prednisone. I don't know if they're
working yet. I have low bloodpressure and the
Verapamil tends to make it drop more. Which makes
me dizzy, cold and sleepy. I've been told that it can
take a while to start working. The lithium,...
well I got to admit I'm enjoying that one. It's
supposed to help get rid of the headaches, for now it
seems to keep my spirits up. Lord knows I need all
the help I can get. Prednisone is supposed to have
bad side effects but is supposed to interrupt the
Headache cycle and get rid of them for a while until the
Verapamil can work. Doc says to try it for a few days
till he can get me some oxygen. He knows I'm broke
and he's been very helpful. He gives me free samples.
See's me at the drop of hat and even reads printouts
that I bring him from you guys! His name is Dr. Stephen
Chamakian. Good luck
